Introduction of Energy Conservation: Renewable Energy The issues surrounding energy conservation, in particular the subject of renewable energy is currently the pinnacle of a debate taking place around the world. This is a debate over the importance of increasing renewable energy sources into our main energy infrastructure. Unfortunately, in the midst of a politically motivated, and media driven agenda of promoting an idea of impending doom for the human race, caused by a reported dwindling of available crude oil reserves, and relaxed attitude towards global warming. Many pieces of important information are not making it to the ears of the common, and usually self motivated person. It is important that we ask ourselves if this method helps us solve the problems of energy conservation, or if the psychological impact and the factual confusion contribute to hindering our efforts to implement effectively a workable and sustainable solution. When tasked with the responsibility of providing a detailed description of a problem it is first necessary to define what the problem is. It is with this in mind that we address a few of the fundamental issues that make up the need for energy conservation and how renewable energy will contribute to providing a sustainable solution.
